PropEzy, owned by East-O Holdings Limited (collectively “PropEzy”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of information and data that may be used to identify you, your personal information. We collect information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites and other products and services (collectively, the “Platform”)The intention of this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is to disclose our information-gathering practices and describe how we use your personal information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1. Information for use of Our Platform. When you create an account or profile on our Platform, you may provide personal identifiers, such as your first name, last name, email address, date of birth, phone number, picture, login password, address or geographical location, and other similar personal information.
2. Information for Identity Verification. In connection with (a) creating and maintaining the security of our services, (b) enabling you to make payments, and (c) complying with other various regulatory requirements, you may be required to provide us with information that can be used to verify your identity, such as images of your government issued ID, passport, national ID card, birthdate, and other authentication information.
3. Information for Purposes of Payment Services. To use certain of our payment services, or to make payments to us, you may be required to provide us with financial information, such as your and credit card information. We may also capture additional information when you make payments, such as card type.
4. Information Revealed in Our Communities. When you participate in our communities (help centers, community feeds, classifieds, etc.), you may choose to disclose and provide many different types of personal information that can be used to identify you.
5. Information Provided when You Otherwise Interact with Us. You may provide us with personal information when you fill in forms, respond to surveys, participate in promotions or research opportunities, communicate with our customer service teams, or use other features of our services.

HOW WE WILL USE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not use or reference your information or Business Data except to provide, improve, develop, and market our services. We may use information held about you in the following ways:

• to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you as a member of your community;
• to provide you with location-based services, such as advertising, search results and otherpersonalized content;
• to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and another entity using our Platform or between you and us;
• to improve our Platform and to deliver a better and more personalized service to you;
• to ensure that content from our Platform is presented in the most effective manner foryou and the device you use to access our Platform;
• to notify you about changes to our Platform;
• for any other reason which we deem necessary to enhance your experience of thePlatform;

WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not share your information or Business Data with anyone except as is necessary to provide our services. We do not and will not sell your information or Business Data. Some examples of when and why we share your information or Business Data are:

Service Providers

We use a variety of third-party service providers to help us provide our services, and these third parties may require your information or Business Data for such purposes. For example, service providers may help us: (a) verify your identity or authenticate your identification documents,(b) check information against public databases, (c) conduct background checks, fraud prevention, and risk assessment, (d) perform product development, maintenance and debugging, or (e) provide customer service, payments, or insurance services. We have written agreements with all such third parties and they are not permitted to use your information orBusiness Data for any purpose other than to deliver the relevant services in a professional manner, and consistent with their legal, regulatory and other obligations. For clarity, we do not and will not share any personally identifiable or sensitive business information with third parties for unknown reasons.

Legal and Regulatory Disclosures

We may disclose your information or Business Data to courts, governmental authorities, tax authorities, or third parties, if and to the extent we are required or permitted to do so by law or if such disclosure is reasonably necessary: (a) to comply with our legal obligations, (b) to comply with a valid legal request or to respond to claims asserted against us, (c) to respond to a valid legal request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other of our users to legal liability, or (d) to enforce and administer our Terms of Service or other agreements with users. Such disclosures may be necessary to comply with our legal obligations, for the protection of your or another person's interests or for the purposes of keeping our services secure, preventing harm or crime, enforcing or defending legal rights, or facilitating the collection of taxes.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or in solvency event, then we may sell, transfer or share some or all of our assets, including your information and Business Data in connection with such transaction or in contemplation of such transaction.

HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

The Information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of the UAE. We will store your Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by law. YourInformation may be transferred, stored, processed and used by our affiliated companies.

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS AND AMEND YOUR INFORMATION?

You are able to access a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with the Platform for the purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating your Information.

Examples of information you can access easily at the Platform include:

• personal information including name, e-mail, telephone number, birthday;
• property information including property type, size, location;
• up-to-date information regarding recent requests;
• payment settings (including credit card information); and
• app notification settings.

You can opt-out of receiving notifications (in-app and email) from us at any time by adjusting your communication preferences under Notifications in the Profile app section.

Also, our system will place cookies when you log on to our Platform and this is to ensure you have an enjoyable user experience and are able to utilise all aspects of the Platform. You may disable Cookies by changing the settings on your browser. If you disable Cookies, it will affect how our Platform works and you may not be able to access or use certain areas of our Platform or full functionality. For example, performance cookies collect information about how you use the Site, for instance, which pages you visit most often, which allows us to provide you with targeted and relevant choices that enhance your Site experience.

We may retain a copy of your Information for compliance reasons. When you updateInformation, we may retain a copy of the prior version for our records.

WHAT SECURITY MEASURES WE APPLY

Your PropEzy profile is password-protected so that only you and authorized service provider employees have access to your account information. PropEzy or service provider staff will never proactively reach out to you and ask for any personal account information, including your password.

It is important for you to protect yourself against unauthorised access to your password and to your devices used to access our Platform. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. For example, ensure that you sign off when you have finished using a shared device.

We maintain commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to ensure your Information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and to protect against unauthorized access or alteration to, disclosure, or destruction of yourInformation. We may, for example, use encryption technology to secure your Information during transmission to our Platform as well as external firewall and on-host firewall technology to prevent network level attacks. Only those authorized employees, contractors, and agents who need to know your Information in connection with the performance of their services are allowed to access this Information.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.Although we will do our best to protect your Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Information transmitted to our Platform and any transmission is at your own risk.

WHAT IF WE CHANGE OUR PRIVACY POLICY?

Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Policy may therefore also need to change. We will post the current version of this Privacy Policy on the Platform and each such change will be effective upon posting on the Platform or upon the date designated by us as the "Last Updated"date.

We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, but you should check ourPlatform frequently to see recent changes.

It is your obligation to regularly check the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Platformfollowing any such change constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy as so modified.
